Once famous for its legendary dacoits, the Chambal ravines and the river that runs through it are now home to some of the most incredible wildlife India has to offer. Spread across the three states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the National Chambal Sanctuary gives visitors the best chance of sighting the gharial (fish-eating) crocodile or the Indian skimmer. The areas around the sanctuary can also be explored for sarus crane and blackbuck sighting opportunities.

Arrival at Ahmedabad Airport in the afternoon and drive to Velavadar, Blackbuck National park.

Depart early in the morning for Little Rann of Kutch. After checking in at the hotel and lunch, afternoon safari in Little Rann of Kutch.

Friday, day 6
Morning safari in Little Rann of Kutch. Check-out from the hotel after the safari and head to the airport for an afternoon return flight from Ahmedabad.
This safari can be booked at a short notice, with just a few months of advance booking. This tour should be combined with a birding trip to Bharatpur.
