Named after the famous British hunter, author and naturalist, Jim Corbett National Park is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This national park sees the largest congregation of Asiatic elephants in North India in the summer months of April and May. The stunning open landscape of JCNP provides the perfect backdrop to photograph the magnificent beasts. Besides elephants, the park is also home to the royal Bengal tiger and a wide variety of birds, notable among which are the spot-bellied eagle owl and the long-tailed broad bill.
